I’m a writer, photographer, baker, bibliophile and Wisconsinite now living in Chicago. I graduated from Missouri State University in 2016 with a bachelors degree in journalism. I am currently working on my masters degree in journalism at DePaul University.
Consider this my place on the web to display some of my best work and blog about what I’m reading, seeing and doing. The opinions expressed here are my own and in no way reflect any of my past or current employers.
In media, I’ve worked for KSMU News, Missouri State University’s campus newspaper The Standard and Stony Brook University campus newspaper The Statesman. I’m extremely proud to have produced the series The Journey Continues examining the history of race in Springfield, Missouri with two sociology professors. I also contributed to the Sense of Community series on the five year anniversary of the tornado in Joplin, Missouri.
Here is my updated resume.
